About Sondra Sen

 

Sondra Sen is an international business trainer and consultant with special expertise and experience on India. She helps companies who outsource work to India to overcome cultural and communication gaps inherent in virtual teams.


As President of Sherisen International Inc., she has prepared hundreds of managers and families from Fortune 500 companies to live and work in 35 countries. With over 25 years' experience in cross cultural training and international relocation, Sen is a pioneer in the field, and has conducted programs in the U.S., Europe and India.

She holds an undergraduate degree from the Johns Hopkins University and a graduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania. She is the author of International Business Interacts on 50 countries, serves on the New Jersey State Council on Gender Parity, and is listed in Who’s Who in American Women.

A frequent speaker at professional meetings, Sen spoke on Outsourcing to India: Reducing Cultural and Communication Gaps at the Sietar USA Sixth Annual Conference in November, 2005, was moderator for a panel on Opportunities and Challenges in India, Sietar New York in May, 2004 and a panelist on the India Forum at the ERC Global Symposium in Anaheim, Cal. in October, 2001.
